Heading to Villarrica volcano in Chile

AVERT co-PIs Terry Plank and Einat Lev are heading to Villarrica volcano in Chile! They will join a Chilean team from SERNAGEOMIN and OVDAS and other AVERT partners, and head to the summit of the volcano! There, the teams will install a unique multi-parameter site, with thermal and visible cameras, a custom GPS sensor, a seismometer, and other many other instruments to monitor this very high threat volcano.
