Photogrammetry surveys

Photogrammetry refers to the process of reconstructing a 3-D structure using 2-D images. During field seasons at Okmok volcano in 2021, 2022, and 2023, we have performed aerial surveys of a number of the eruption cones that reside within the caldera. 3-D models produced from the July 2021 surveys are shown below.
